Accessibility Statement

Last updated: March 5, 2026

Glenmont Inn Home is working to make our website accessible to people with disabilities.

We aim to provide an experience that is usable for the widest possible audience, including people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers and keyboard navigation.

What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse and interact with the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be supported by the capabilities of the system the site runs on and by assistive technologies.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

We have taken steps to improve accessibility and are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.

As part of this effort, we have:

  • Used the Wix Accessibility Wizard to scan the site and address identified issues.

  • Set the main language of the site.

  • Reviewed and adjusted content order (DOM order) so pages follow a logical reading and tabbing order.

  • Used clear heading structures across pages.

  • Added alternative (alt) text to relevant images and marked decorative images as decorative where appropriate.

  • Implemented color combinations intended to meet recommended contrast requirements.

  • Reduced unnecessary motion and avoided disruptive autoplay where possible.

  • Worked to make video, audio, and documents accessible where they are used (for example by providing captions, transcripts, or accessible file formats when available).

Known limitations / third-party content

Some parts of the site may rely on third-party tools or embedded content (for example, maps, booking tools, or external widgets). These elements may have accessibility limitations that are outside our direct control. We will do our best to offer alternatives or assistance when feasible.

Requests, issues, and suggestions

If you find an accessibility issue on the site, or if you need help using any part of it, please contact our accessibility coordinator:

When reaching out, it helps to include the page URL and a brief description of the issue (what you were trying to do, and what went wrong).
